My Philosophy

I started TallMark because I’ve seen too many companies—and too many leaders—get in their own way.

They want to grow, but they play checkers in a chess world—making decisions one move at a time, without thinking holistically about the impact across their business. They try to be okay at everything instead of being elite at the thing that truly sets them apart.

At TallMark, I help businesses and individuals step back, get clear on what makes them unique, and build from there. I believe that when you align your strategy, your people, and your priorities around what you do best, that’s when growth becomes inevitable—and sustainable.

I often ask leaders: “Pebbles or boulders?”
If your job as a leader is to clear the path for your team, you need to know the difference between small distractions and major blockers. I help organizations identify the boulders—the real barriers to performance—and focus their time and energy where it
matters most.

At the individual level, I see the same pattern over and over: leaders who were promoted because they were great at doing, but who never truly learned how to lead. I work with those leaders to develop the skills that matter most—coaching, communication, prioritization, presence—so they can elevate others, not just execute on their own.

Because at the end of the day, my work is about more than performance. It’s about helping people and businesses stand out, lead boldly, and grow fearlessly.

It’s about helping them leave their mark.

My Experience

Before launching TallMark, I spent over two decades leading and scaling sales organizations at high-growth companies like Smartsheet, Convoy, DocuSign, and Rival IQ. I’ve worked across the spectrum—from early-stage startups to scaled enterprise—and led teams focused on everything from outbound lead generation to complex go-to-market strategy and execution.

I’ve:

  • Built and rebuilt teams in SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments

  • Developed high-performing lead generation engines and demand creation programs

  • Designed compensation plans, hiring profiles, messaging frameworks, and territory models

  • Promoted dozens of emerging leaders and helped rebuild underperforming teams into top-tier performers

  • Delivered revenue growth, retention improvements, and cultural turnarounds in fast-paced, evolving environments

Whether I was coaching a new AE or rolling out a GTM strategy to a national sales team, the focus was always the same: clarity, accountability, and impact.

That’s what I bring to TallMark—and to every client I work with.

My Why

I’ve spent my whole life standing out—literally. I’m 6'8" with a purple birthmark on my upper lip. There was no blending in, no hiding in the crowd. And while that wasn’t always easy, it shaped something important in me: a deep desire for others to be seen.

Not just noticed—but truly recognized for who they are and what they’re capable of. That desire has become one of the driving forces in my life.

My greatest successes—the ones that matter most—have never been about being in the spotlight myself. They’ve come from seeing someone else rise, knowing I played even a small role in helping them get there.

That’s why I coach. It’s why I lead. It’s why I started TallMark.

Whether I’m working with a founder, a first-time manager, or a high school athlete, I get the same joy from helping them grow into the version of themselves they didn’t know they were capable of becoming. Great businesses and great careers don’t just happen—they’re built with intention, support, and belief.

And if I can help someone get there—if I can help them stand tall and leave their markthat’s everything to me.
